Irvington Home Tour
There was an ever-changing cascade of assets to keep track of on this job. There are 8 homes total – each has an interior & exterior slide show (about 40 slides with captions per), an embedded video, a .gif placeholder image for the video, a MatterPort 3D tour link, 8 to 10 paragraphs, a bank of unique advertisers & sponsors, and then some. The Home Tour donation page has a form with a customized response & email with a secret code to access the Virtual Home Tour pages. The Our History page has another 50+ historic slides with captions as well. All said, a basic Squarespace site with some custom styles was just enough to handle the entire scope of the project.
“Since 1967, the Irvington Home Tour has been opening doors to our past, present, and future, giving participants an inside look of homes in the Irvington National Historic District, the largest such district in Oregon and one of largest in the country. Now, after a two-year COVID-related hiatus, the tour is providing that behind-the-scenes look virtually. No paper booties needed! This year’s 8-home event includes an impressive array of styles, from a perfectly preserved Colonial Revival to a thoroughly modern update of a 1909 Prairie Craftsman.”
