Mobile First Design Examples

When I was building the previous iteration of my portfolio site, I was making iPhone mockups with screenshots as examples of what the site would look like on mobile. They were paired with a version of the same site demonstrated on a MacBook Pro in a similar template. A site needs to look sharp on mobile because nearly 80% of users browsing the web are using a phone to do so (according to a Tech Jury article). WordPress helps get everything close, but going the extra mile to dial-in the mobile experience is worth the effort – at least in my opinion). The Astra theme even has a specific set of styling options for the off-screen menu layout – and it’s pretty slick!
